INSPIRATION

"Warrior in a garden" derives inspiration from two places; the quote "It's better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war" which we believe applies well to the world of martial arts. Secondly, and more importantly, this project is a dedication to our first daughter, Amelia.

SYMBOLISM

The peony is a motif that is widely used in Japanese paintings, tapestry and more commonly (these days) tattoos. It represents prosperity, good fortune and bravery.

PACKAGING

Our past projects have involved screenprinting our packaging, this project is no different. We used eco-friendly black waterbased inks to print on recycled cardboard packaging. We're always looking to push the design, art and boundaries of what we can do with our packaging.
